Water Restrictions - Effective March 26, 2011, South Florida Water Management District has imposed Phase II Water Shortage Restrictions. If you have an odd-numbered address, you may only irrigate your landscape on Wednesday and Saturday, between 12:00am and 10:00am and/or between 4:00pm and 11:59pm. If you have an even-numbered address, the days are Thursday and Sunday, and the hours are the same. Click here for more details.

Canyon Park -
For more information on the proposed Canyon Park and to make your voice count, click on the button to the left under Residents. It is a direct link to the BuildCanyonPark website. - The passes that our guards distribute to visitors instruct anyone parking in the street to park on either the "odd" or "even" side. "Odd" and "Even" refer to the address numbers. The Association has initiated this procedure to ease congestion when residents have more guests' vehicles than will fit in their driveway, helping to make the roads safer and to allow adequate space for emergency vehicles to pass. Two signs are posted at the entrance to the community, stating the current side of the street for permitted parking and is changed weekly. Any parking deviation will be a violation of community rules. Per the Association documents, multiple violations could result in a fine being levied against the resident. Please obey the community rules and help keep our community safe.

Parking Procedure

Reminder - All exterior Holiday lights and decorations are required to be removed by January 15, per HOA guidelines.

Crime Prevention Tips - Our security company, Command Security Corporation has some recommendations for everyone. Click here for useful crime prevention tips.

Tailgaters and Piggy-backers
There have been reports of vehicles trying to tailgate or "piggy-back" behind other vehicles going through the residents' gate, thus sneaking through without an active clicker. Please be aware of this and enter slowly, so as not to allow them entry. Also, if you can identify any of these vehicles, please report them to the Association or to the property manager. This is a violation of community regulations and could be a security risk. Your neighbors will appreciate your diligence.

Palm Trees With Yellow Fronds
Are the fronds on your palm trees light green or yellow? If so, they need fertilizer immediately. Palm fronds should be dark green. Without fertilizer, your palm trees may develop disease and die. Try a mixture of 13-3-13 that you can pick up at any garden center. Or have your landscaper do it. The cost should be under $40 and the results will be amazing.

Architectural Guidelines
Homeowners are reminded that exterior alterations, including some items that might be considered temporary (e.g. trampolines) are covered in the Architectural Guidelines, a copy of which can be found on the Documents page.

Dog Owners
Please do not walk your dog on neighbors' lawns.  Many people allow their dogs to sniff on lawns and are not quick enough to catch them from relieving themselves on those lawns. Damage done by dog urine on lawns is caused by excess nitrogen in one spot, and that "burns" grass and plants. That is not fair to homeowners who work hard to keep their property looking good.  And you should always have something with you so that you can remove your dog's "gifts" from wherever they land.

Lock Your Car
Help keep our community safe.   Please lock your car, even when it is parked in your driveway.  Other gated communities in our area have experienced thefts of cars from driveways.  These cars had been left unlocked and most had the keys in them.  Take the temptation away--lock your car and avoid becoming a victim.

Wireless Internet Access at the Clubhouse
Our clubhouse is equipped with wireless internet access.  If you'd like to access it while working in the comfort and quiet of the clubhouse or the pool area, stop by the office to get the password.

ATVs, Pocket Bikes and Mini Motorcycles
The use of ATVs, pocket bikes, mini motorcycles, and motorcycles is not permitted anywhere in Cobblestone Creek, including on private property.  There have been many complaints about these motorized devices from residents.  In some cases the Sheriff's Office has been called.  For the benefit and protection of all residents, violations will result in an immediate fine levied against the homeowner responsible.

Expecting Guests?  Things You Should Know
-If you are expecting guests that are not on your permanent list, please notify the gatehouse at 561-880-0065 in advance.  If the officer is not busy, he/she will answer your call and note the guest's name.  If the officer is busy, you will get the voicemail and can leave your name and the guest's name.  This alleviates the need for the officer to make repeated calls to residents while there are cars lined up waiting to enter the community.  When calling, please remember to give the officer your PIN number.  If you are unsure of your PIN number, please contact the association office at 561-880-0165.  The officer cannot give out PIN numbers.

-Also, please make sure your phone number, your permanent guest list and your emergency contacts are up-to-date with the association.  To do this, you must call the association office at the above number or contact the association by email at cobblestonecreekhoa@gmail.com.  The officer on duty cannot accept verbal modifications to the data in the computer.  We have had incidents where guests or vendors were turned away because the gatehouse did not have current information and therefore, the resident could not be reached for authorization.

-If you have a good experience with any of the officers, please contact us with the date and time of the incident so that we can forward positive feedback to our security company.

-If you or one of your guests has a bad experience or one that is not up to the standards of Cobblestone Creek, please contact us with the date and time of that incident so that the security company will be able to address training or supervisory needs that arise.

Residents Must Submit Requests Before Making Exterior Alterations
All residents are reminded that the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions for Cobblestone Creek requires that prior to doing exterior work of any kind, a Request for Architectural Review form must be submitted to Oxygen Association Services. This includes all changes to landscaping, placement of statues, addition of rocks and borders around gardens and erecting of play sets. Click here to see a synopsis of the Covenants and Restrictions. And note the next bit of News...

No Fee to Submit a Request for Architectural Review
There is no fee for submitting an application for Architectural Review.  The security and inspection deposits for larger work projects remain in effect. Click here to print a copy of the Request for Architectural Review form.
